Central Foundry is a privately owned family business established in 1927, and is one of the larger non-ferrous foundries in this state due to continual upgrading in both equipment and technologies. Products include light and heavy engineering components, architectural fittings, street furniture, plastic forming tools, yacht keels, marine castings, aluminum decorative lace.

The scope of work carried out is considerable and covers all facets of casting, from small simple castings to larger or complex engineering castings, and in all grades of non-ferous materials, Bronzes, Aluminum, Copper, Lead, Gunmetal, Brass.

Central Foundry do not supply scrap material. Only certified ingot is used in all melts and certificates are always available on request.

Central Foundry is a Quality Endorsed Company to ISO 9002 and the attainment of this certification has been but one step in the continuing improvement in production methods aligned with tight quality control throughout.

Facilities include pattern making, jobbing or repetition moulding,electric induction melting as well as natural gas fired furnaces. Post machining operations are carried out on a sub-contract basis through a close association with several high quality engineering shops with full CNC facilities.
